No pool is deeper than a few feet so it feels geared towards the little ones. Pool was crowded but nice - sandy beaches and a lazy river. When I got off at the outlet the driver confirmed he would be back in an hour and he was. Shuttle was easy to get and I was told it ran on the hour. Husband and kids enjoyed the pool while I took the shuttle to the outlets.
An odd choice knowing that families will be staying there. A frosted glass window separates the shower from the bedroom which although pretty, was pretty see through. It is a casino afterall so the casino, elevators and basically everywhere but our room smelled like smoke. Check in was easy (Mai was great!) and we got a non-smoking room. We decided to stay one night here with our two boys before heading home. JW is more upscale and has many more amenities. I can't really compare the two since they are entirely different types of hotels.
We stayed one night after having stayed 3 nights in Palm Desert at the JW Marriott.
